Pet Project was the inevitable result when longtime Southern California bands Feed the Kitty and Pet the Dog joined forces. Between them, the members have released hours of recorded music and logged well over 7,000 live performances across more than two decades.
Based in Los Angeles, CA, Pet Project cultivates a rich neo-retro Southern California sound, blending creative songwriting with immersive, cinematic soundscapes. Their music is crafted to shine both on stage and in film, television & advertising placements, balancing memorable hooks with dynamic textures. Pet Project can create new Jingles, Sonic/Audio Branding & Logos, and Music beds quickly on request. Most of the Pet Project songs offer One Stop status as 100% of the publishing and master rights are owned by the band.
Pet Project is composed of Mathieu Brousseau (vocals/guitar), Jed Mottley (bass), Jack Maher Jr. (guitar/vocals), and producer John “Lou” Lousteau (drums/vocals). Their albums Sidewalk to Nowhere and Same Old World, Different Me were recorded at the Foo Fighters’ legendary Studio 606 in Northridge, CA.
